Campus Involvement

Pi Beta Phi will be the first National Panhellenic Sorority to join the University of Wisconsin Green Bay. Our chapter will be looking to bring Pi Beta Phi's literary initiatives to the Green Bay community in hopes to make a positive impact. Additionally, with one of Pi Phi’s core values being philanthropic service to others, our members will have the opportunity to participate in service projects outside of Read > Lead > Achieve. If there is a philanthropic cause in the community that our members are passionate about, Pi Beta Phi wants to support that initiative as well.

PHILANTHROPY RECAP - FALL 2023

The Wisconsin Epsilon chapter of Pi Beta Phi partnered with Smart Cow to sell frozen yogurt on campus. The event was a huge success and we were able to raise over 250 dollars. We were able to sell out of frozen yogurt within four hours of the booth being open. The event also raised a lot of donations. The earnings from the event were evenly split in half to be forwarded to the Friendship fund and the Literacy fund. The Friendship Fund supports leadership development, scholarships, reading initiatives, heritage and grants for sisters in need. The Leadership fund helps with the support of current leadership programs and initiatives.

The Wisconsin Epsilon chapter of Pi Beta Phi also continued partnership with Baird Elementary in implementing the Champions are Readers program. Champions are Readers consists of helping children learn to write by doing reading activities. This can include writing and sounding out words. When the program is completed, students receive a certificate and a book to read at home. Throughout the semester, the chapter helped with two separate groups in completing the program.
